iHome Smart Sleeve case review for your laptop, phone, iPad and chargers

I was shocked to think that this iHome Smart Sleeve bag could easily hold what was stated on the wrapper but when I saw the way they laid out the items in layers it made sense. The laptop, phone slot and iPod slot are all protected with a soft material to prevent scratches inside the Smart Sleeve. There is some padding but not a huge amount to protect a big fall. I had the Acase F1 case on my iPad and it fit fine in the slot too.

The charger pocket holds three small chargers and your headphones (in a magnetic closed pouch). Now those of you with a large power brick will find you have to wind carefully and use all the space where there is not a charger slot. But the ones for iPad/iPhone and other micro USB chargers fit fine. The middle slot of for papers or a thin binder.

I found nowhere to easily put pens, business cards or stylus which could have been easily included in the middle pocket, or charger pocket. This was an oversight on their part to make this a great business bag too. A stylus is becoming important on touch devices.

Lastly the back has a zipper to open and a top slot to let you use this as an outer thin pocket or open the zipper and slide the bag on luggage handles for easy transport. I also found the shoulder strap and hooks on the outside of the bag to easily put it over your shoulder. Not in messenger style, just on one shoulder.

A great layout and sleek looking bag. This one stated it held up to a 14" laptop but I find that would be quite hard to do.
