Fever Smart - Smart Path Thermometer review

Dislike having to constantly put the thermometer under your kids tongue? Fever Smart has the Smart Path Thermometer that works via Bluetooth and the cloud to send constant updates to remotely watch someone's temperature.
Fever Smart - Smart Path Thermometer
The Fever Smart - Smart Path Thermometer allows you to remotely monitor temperature using your smartphone as a client or relay device to the cloud.

Fever Smart’s technology is simple and easy to use. Here how it works: a small electronic device, or “Brain Unit,” is attached to the patient via a disposable patch, and the “Relay Unit” sits in the same room. The Brain Unit monitors body temperature and transmits data real-time through a nano-bluetooth chip to the Relay Unit, which then sends the temperature data to Fever Smart’s servers.

Fever Smart sits under the arm of the person and uses one of the (10) supplied sticky sheets to hold it against the body. Then using Bluetooth it sends data to the device.  The sticky pad should last an entire day. You can also get some alternate sticky pads from third parties if there is any allergy concerns.

You need to establish an account with Fever Smart using your email address and a password.  From there you can set Fever Smart in F° or C° for readings and change the graph times.  It also allows multiple profiles to be made for everyone in your care.
I had some issues with the battery as shown in the video. That made keeping a continuous link to the device for testing hard.

The Fever Smart app is slick and undergoing even more updates I was told directly by Fever Smart via emails. I had some concerns that I think they are addressing.  But the flow was easy to understand and they had some nice pop-up help screens as soon as you launched the first time.

You can get your Fever Smart available now and download the app for free. You can learn more about them on SproutUp
