Last night at 2:30am, my cell phone
starts beeping with a system alert at the same time that the phone started
ringing. Our beloved blog hosting server decided that it did not
need it's array controller any longer and could function greatly without
it. It soon learned however, that it was a required piece of the
puzzle.
So we lost last nights postings for myself, Tom Duff and Libby as the tape was in progress and didn't complete. So we decided to take the outage and rebuild the OS as well.
