One of the main components to synchronize IBM Connections Profiles is SDI / TDI (Tivoli | Security Directory Integrator) and the tdisol package IBM provides during the installation. This package contains lots of scripts which are useful, but are often unknown by customers and administrators. Knowing the main configuration properties and possibilities saves you time during installation and on your daily work.
