Previously, Lotus.IBM attempted this very offering on their own. Unyte gives them a better exposure and ease of use than the previous Sametime offering, but each partner now competes directly with each other and with IBM in sales. From what I know learned at Lotusphere, you as the partner are not hosting this offering, simply pushing the business to IBM directly with some markup in there.

We have just started an evaluation phase of what external web conferencing tool we would like to roll out. We will do a survey to see what our business users need and then test several vendors that fit this need. (Anyone have a survey they've used before? No need to recreate the wheel you know.)
We've only touched the surface of vendors but Unyte is one we are looking at. Untye is simple to use, we are a Lotus shop and I think the pricing will be good. However, Unyte is going up against a market leader, Webex, who I understand has their own network to help keep things moving fast. We'll do a good job capturing all attributes of the testing and see where it takes us. Let me know if anyone has any experiences/suggestions to share in this area.

Character Bio:
This will take far more time than I have today. I will start with I was born and still live in St. Louis, MO. Even though for a couple years I was never, ever here and always on the road, this is smack in the middle of the US. Everything is just a few hour flight. That part is nice. No beach/ocean/coast isn't the best. But with the travel I make up for it.
