JBL Flip Wireless Bluetooth Speaker review from Best Buy Audio Fest

Best Buy was kind enough to send over the JBL Flip Wireless Bluetooth Speaker for review as part of their March Audio Fest.  The JBL Flip is an excellent sounding Bluetooth speaker with the added bonus as a speakerphone. We found it simple to pair to any device and got great sound quality. An optional line in port allows you to connect any device with a standard 3.5mm connector.

Included in the package for the JBL Flip Wireless Bluetooth Speaker was a neoprene sleeve and power adapter with an interchangeable global plug end. The downside was that the neoprene sleeve did also make room to fit the charger. So you carry the charger separately or not at all. Also the choice of the larger power adapter and not a micro USB type connector confused us. (apparently the Flip II does use USB).

The speaker should last up to 5 hours on a full charge but also allows you to use an AC adapter for longer running times. After about 5 hours it just shuts off. that is good it meets it's time stated but some indication would be good. We may have overlooked that in the instruction book but it would make sense to have one.

This is still a great unit with excellent sound quality in a compact size. JBL is known for their speakers and this does not disappoint in performance for the value.

The Audio Fest is taking place at Best Buy through April 4th. I stopped in to see some of the things that were being shown at CES and was happily surprised to see quite a few of them. They have a running list of sales that is changing each week during Audio Fest I found out and I missed one I would have grabbed on a new soundbar.

The good news is that is does not affect my review of the  JBL Flip Wireless Bluetooth Speaker in any way, shape or form.  I still had some things I wish were different. You can find it during Audio Fest or on Amazon in all the colors.
