The 3M Easy-On Privacy Filter and Screen Protector for the Apple iPad lives up to it's name. The adhesive corner tabs allow you to take the screen on and off the iPad for numerous applications. The privacy feature performs great as 3M has been in this market for laptops for a long time already. Moving to tablets and other mobile devices was just fitting the protector to the right sizes.
Note that this privacy screen comes in two different formats based on how you want the screen protected. There is one for landscape and one for portrait. You will need to decide which privacy mode you want and get that screen . One screen will not do both modes. (It is strictly a technology issue)
Included in the package for the 3M Easy-On Privacy Filter and Screen Protector for the Apple iPad is:
- screen cleaning cloth (please use this)
- the corner sticky tabs (reusable with a rinse under warm water and letting air dry)
- the screen
- directions
- storage folder for when the screen is not in use
We love these privacy screens and use them for both the privacy (of course) and as a screen protector. We really do not have issues with any dimming as long as you remember to use the iPad in the alternate layout or look directly at it. Any angle of the iPad could reduce seeing it clearly when in that mode.
