Today’s posting thanks to Bas while I travel

I am up in Newark and the Poconos Mountains the next couple days at a customer site.  So I wanted to do a quick posting from the hotel.  I also liked Rich's response to yesterday's posting, right on the money.

Bas has graced me with wonderful links, articles and tips over the years.  I can't thank him enough for some of the entertaining reads as well as eye openers he has brought to my attention.  So I am using some things he passed on today that had me staring at the screen.

First up, lapdance!!
British Show Dupes Men with 'Lapdance Island'
(Thursday, August 21 12:41 PM)

LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - Thousands of British men were conned into signing up for a fake reality show that promised to put them on an island with a bevy of strippers.

According to media reports from across the pond, more than 20,000 men filled out applications to appear on "Lapdance Island." The premise of the show is that 10 men would be deposited on a tropical island populated by 40 lapdancers. They'd be constant companions, but any guy who touched one of the women would be sent packing. The winner gets a cash prize.

Next up, some cool satellite images before and after the big blackout.

Once again, the Earth Observatory has some interesting pictures to share. This link will take you to a "before blackout" and "during blackout" images of the US East coast. http://earthobservatory.nasa.gov/Newsroom/NewImages/images.php3?img_id=16273
